cats sleeping patterns

My cat's sleeping patterns depend on if all Five are sleeping with me or not. With all five then It's Spontaneity in the crook of my arm, the Twins snuggled in between or in the crook of my legs, sometimes next to the belly,, under or on top of the covers, sometimes both, then Isis claims the head pillow, while Sampson keeps me feet warm.
The pattern will fluctuate, depending on who gets prime snuggle zones furst, and how close Spot will let the others get. Often whoever gets on my lap furst will often control the pattern.
It's always gratifying, when I wake to all five cuddled into me, I can't get up to use the facilities sometimes, but it's ohh so nice
Have found that all my cats adapt to my schedule. They usually all sleep with me, and are active when I am up. Since I work nights, their nocturnal habits fit in purrfectly with my schedule.
At the end of the day, I often have to do cat inventory, find where they are napping, give the stragglers a love and a nudge, letting them know it's bed time, and they will follow down to our bedroom.

As to the late night activities. We tried to shut the door and Jax informed us that we were confused as to just who owns the house! That bone head will literally launch himself into it until we open it! It really has to be experienced to appreciate. 23 pounds picking up speed down the hallway and barreling into the door. Little ass! Thank god he usually savandalizes the house quietly overnight. Lol
