I am so sorry for the loss of Bajah and Simba. I can't imagine how heartbroken you are.

I am glad you found your two wonderful boys, they are lovely!

We have three SV boys, an F3, F4 and F5, I think you are in for many years of excitement, a lot of cuddling and head butting, occasional whining and begging, and two sweeties to love dearly.

Welcome to SVCC :)

Ummmm, those ARE big boys already:eek: Bigger than my full grown cats. Might want to look into pony saddles.....

This is so funny....but true. The funny rating wasn't enough. Sad to hear about your bengals passing but it sounds like you have your hands full. Very big boys! Excited to see pictures.

I posted a pic of their uncle. I feed them dry food "Taste of the Wild" I go through a 5lb bag every 2-21/2 weeks plus I give them -evenings only 2 small cans each of Taste of the Wild and they want more. I think I am feeding them too much but one small can just wasn't working. They love evening time, they can't wait many times I need to put them in another room while I'm getting the wet food together. I see some give raw... Am I feeding too much?

I just took a look at their album and could hardly handle the cuteness! :in love: They look fabulous. You should not worry about overfeeding kittens unless they look fat. I don't know how current those pictures are, but they certainly don't look fat. They are simply building muscle and bone. Feed them as much as they want. Remember that they'll fully mature at around 3 yrs of age. The first 2 yrs are usually when they undergo their height and length growth spurt and by the end of the third year, they've typically added their muscle weight.

Eddies

Eddies a ham!
Bajah was born with IBS/IBD which is Inflammatory bowl disease/inflammatory bowl syndrome and there is no cure. I was afraid of needles, noticed I said was, his life depended on me giving him shots daily and I had to overcome my fears. I did it but not without some tears and mishaps. He lived 16 months longer than my Vet thought he would. Simba was born with a heart disorder and I had to monitor his play time. Bajah passed in my arms and 9 days later Simba passed in my arms of a heart attack. I missed them so much, we had bond. Jaspurr and Safari are 7 months old weighing in at 16lbs. OMG I am so new at this, they are going to be big boys I think
SO YOU HAD 2 SPECIAL NEEDS BABIES AND KEPT THEM AS LONG AS YOU COULD! THERE IS A SPECIAL PLACE IN KITTY HEAVEN FOR OWNERS LIKE YOU! I hope your 2 new babies turn out to be EVERYTHING you could ever want from them! :paw:

Welcome and VERY sorry to hear about your babies. I don't have children either and I understand completely that they are your kids. Hope your new babies bring some healing.

I have a question....Jaspurr doesn't have a mean bone in his body...purrs and is so sweet, hates to be held though. Now Safari on the hand is more on the aggressive side, hisses and slaps my husband especially when I am holding him and by the way he likes to be held like a baby. I won't be able to hold him this way too much longer, getting too big and heavy. Safari follows me EVERYWHERE. I can't move without him under my feet but my husband can only pet and hold him on his terms. Is this normal? How can they have the same dad and be so opposite? It was their first Thanksgiving and meeting people, Jaspurr was a good sport but Safari hit and hissed at everyone and when my father in law tried to pick him up Safari bit him. Safari is very wild looking and he acts wild. I thought Savannah's were not aggressive?

Safari is a purr machine and I basically can do anything to him and he head butts me all the time. Safari shows he loves me, comes when I call him and sits and lays with me all the time. Jaspurr shares his time with both of us and loves to lick us to death.
