Orion Goes Home

Thanks for sharing... Beautiful pictures of him... This is the reason I could never be a breeder... I could never let them leave... If someone were to try to take Elsa they would have a real fight on their hands... I know it has to be hard and I do not see how you and all the other breeders do it.

Thank you John! it is very, very difficult - I will not lie...Orion was with me a bit longer than usual and I was very attached to him. And yes, some of us cry when our kittens leave - I do every time...that being said...I wanted Orion to have his own home and own person...he will have a wonderful life with Danny and I look forward to many years of photos as Orion grows up.

I certainly hope that Danny is half as good as it is been with you, as I know so far he has had such a rewarding life with you. If he is anything like the Savannahs that I hear about, it will not be long before Danny finds out that a Savannah owns him and not the other way around. I am sure you will have more right around the corner to become a slave to.

Aww...thank you John! Danny also has an F2 from Trish and I have known him for almost two years now...i see Danny quite often and will still get to see Orion...Danny is a very loving, caring guy and I know he will take good care of Orion...he is @Sourek on the forum and has been a member here since the very beginning.

And yes, more kittens in May, I think :)

Knowing him for a while I imagine makes it a lot easier... I hope that Orion and his F2 get along well together.

yes it made it a bit easier...I sometimes wonder if I should continue to breed as I love the kittens so much and it is so hard to let them go...but then I see and hear how happy people are with their kittens and things are put into perspective. I keep hearing it gets easier, but am not there yet :)

I understand... I am well aware of the attachments... A good example, Elsa right now is sitting right behind me and stays close... You can see below how attached we are already in less than a month.

And not to mention, without being prompted or trained last night she started playing Fetch... I was a little busy, so to distract her, I threw a piece of paper, and she brought it back about 3 times... I then grabbed one of my GoPros... Check out http://www.savannahcatchat.com/threads/a-surprising-day-with-elsa.4142/ and you will see her Video at the bottom of it...
