When Juba met Maliik

Maliik came to live with us at 12 wks. In addition to being treated for giardia and coccidia, he had difficulty bonding with me so he was 16 wks before he met the other cats. I knew Juba would do a great job introducing Maliik to the house but was a bit worried about Maliik adjusting to another new experience. These pics chronicle their first day together. Maliik was so happy to have another cat for company that he exhausted poor Juba who was ready for a nap about 2 hrs after they met.

1. Juba's belly-up approach to the new kid
2. Maliik discovers Juba
3. No rest for Juba
4. Can't sleep while in a headlock
5. Can't sleep while your tail is being bitten
6. You can run but you can't hide
7. At rest at last

I love the tender patience that Juba used toward Maliik but poor Juba kept looking at me as though he was saying "what have you DONE to me?!"
